Legalized Marijuana gets a 'No' Vote

(Nov. 5 ) -- Nevada voters have defeated a proposed constitutional amendment to let adults possess up to three ounces of marijuana for personal use. Question Nine was backed by a group
called Nevadans for Responsible Law Enforcement. It would have made Nevada's pot laws the most liberal in the nation.

The language for Question 9 that will appear on the statewide general election ballot has been finalized and is now available online. Question 9 seeks to amend the Nevada Constitution, making the use and possession of 3 ounces or less of marijuana by persons age 21 and older legal. More>>
