Police say they have identified a woman found unconscious on a Las Vegas street without any identification. Las Vegas police released photos of the woman to the media Friday hoping relatives or friends might be able to identify her.

They said she appeared to be suffering from an apparent head injury and was unable to communicate with detectives. Officer Ramon Denby says the woman's co-workers called police Friday night after the images were aired on TV. He says detectives had contacted her husband.

The woman's identity was not immediately released. Denby says police are still looking for more information about the incident.
