Three girls at the Henderson International School are taking rap to a whole new level. Their assignment was to teach a school in Mexico about the water deficit in Southern Nevada.
So instead of the same old poem, drawing or story, they're rapping the information.
Fourth grader Joanna Mann says, "actually a rap wasn't one of the options but we decided to do something a little unusual so we made up a rap about it."
Fellow rapper Abby Richter says, "Our science teacher really really loved it. She said it was one of the best in the whole grade and she never saw this in any of her teaching."
They are only in fourth grade but they are using their creative side to teach others about water conservation.
