RENO, Nev. (AP) - A man killed in a single-vehicle crash on a winding, mountain highway has been identified by the Nevada Highway Patrol as a 42-year-old Gold Hill man.
Investigators say Bret Vernon Martin was traveling north Friday night on State Route 341 when his pickup crossed the double yellow center lines and ran off the road.
The accident happened just north of the junction with U.S. 50 in Mound House.
Martin was thrown from the vehicle when it overturned several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
