Las Vegas NowAryan Warriors Gang on Trial
There is heavy security at the federal courthouse as the trial for six members of a white supremacist prison gang gets underway. Members of the Aryan Warriors face racketeering charges for allegedly running a meth and marijuana ring in prisons in Las Vegas, Reno, and Pahrump.
Prosecutors requested the extra security after gang members made threats against witnesses. A judge also ruled that prosecutors can keep the names and statements of witnesses from the defense until they actually testify.
In all, 14 gang members and associates were charged in the original indictment.
