Las Vegas NowWeekend Pave-a-Thon Will Close Intersection
Don't plan on traveling through the Valley View and Spring Mountain intersection over the weekend.
That intersection is scheduled to close to traffic at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 9th and not re-open until Monday, July 13.
There will be a pave-a-thon. Crews will be reconstructing the intersection. It's part of the Valley View rejuvenation project which will widen Valley View to six lanes from Desert Inn to Flamingo.
That project is expected to be completed on August 28. While the intersection is set to re-open on Monday at 5 a.m. If the process doesn't go as planned, the temporary closure will be extended until the necessary work is done.
