Las Vegas NowCoronado Coach Arrested in Missing Money Investigation
John MannionThe Coronado High School football coach was arrested Monday morning on an investigation into missing money. John Mannion is facing felony theft charges of misusing student funds.
More than $10,000 raised by students disappeared and Mannion was responsible for that money. He says it was stolen from his office last August.
An audit found improper accounting procedures and the money was not in a secure location. Mannion has denied any wrongdoing.
He faces 10 years in prison if convicted.
