2 Contractors Killed Near Tonopah on Testing Range

Updated:

Air Force officials say two civilian contractors have been killed in a rollover accident while working on the Nevada Test and Training Range.

Officials say 55-year-old Curtis Fowler of Tonopah, Nev., and a second victim were killed Tuesday when a fuel truck they were driving rolled near Tonopah Air Field, about 125 miles northeast of Nellis Air Force Base.

Authorities say Fowler and the second victim worked for Trend Western Technical Corporation, a subcontractor used by the base for range support services.

Air Force officials say they will release the second victim's identity once family is notified.
