Another tour helicopter had to make an emergency landing Thursday night. The emergency happened at around 6 p.m. The chopper had to land near Calville Bay at Lake Mead. No one was hurt.
Six passengers and a pilot were on board at the time. They were on their way back to McCarran International Airport after visiting the Grand Canyon.
Investigators say the helicopter was flying over Lake Mead when alarms started going off for electrical problems and that's when the pilot decided to put the chopper down.
"Passengers were a little but shaken, obviously having alarms and light going off, but once they were down they went over to the Calville Bay Lounge and waited for the van," said Andrew Munoz with the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
The helicopter is owned by the Sundance Group.
