Las Vegas Now2nd Annual Operation Green Program Launched
The Nevada State Contractors and the Nevada Landscape Association have launched the 2nd Annual Operation Green Program. The program is a community service project which offers renovation of two yards, free of charge, to one homeowner in Northern Nevada and one homeowner in Southern Nevada.
Only 100 hundred applications from Northern and 100 applications from Southern Nevada will be accepted from August 21st, 2009 through September 18th, 2009. Households will be chosen based on income and special circumstances.
The program is not available to tenants, landlords, mobile home owners, and owners who do not reside at the residence.
To obtain an application, along with a homeowner waiver, and medial release form, visit the Nevada State Contractors Board web site at: www.nscb.state.nv.us or by calling Ranya Botros in Southern Nevada at (702) 486-1165.
