Las Vegas NowArrest Warrant Issued for Suspect in Child's Murder
LAS VEGAS, Nv -- Police are hoping the public can help locate a man who is a suspect in the murder of his girlfriend's 18-month-old boy.
Jocquise Coleman who is 18-years-old was babysitting his girlfriend's child on Sept. 16, 2009. Investigators say he beat the little boy so badly he died of his injuries the next day. Coleman is described as African American, 5'9" tall and weighing around 135 pounds.
A warrant has been issued for Coleman. He faces several charges including murder. Police believe he may have fled to Los Angeles. Anyone with information is asked to call Metro's Abuse and Neglect section at (702)828-3364 or Crime Stoppers at (702)385-5555.
