North Las Vegas police say a driver and passenger scuffling in one car may have contributed to a three-vehicle crash that left several people hurt.
Police say drugs and excessive speed may also be a factor, and the 25-year-old driver of a Ford Crown Victoria may face charges in the crash about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Craig Road and Valley Road.
Witnesses told investigators the driver and a 24-year-old passenger had a physical altercation before the Crown Victoria hit a Toyota Rav 4, which then struck a Mitsubishi Diamonte. A 49-year-old and 48-year-old in the Toyota and the 27-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi were hospitalized in critical condition. Police say the driver of the Crown Victoria was also hurt.
