It's almost tee time at the Justin Timberlake Shriner's Hospitals for Children Open.
"He's not just singing and doing the things he does, but taking the time to give back," said LPGA pro and resident of Lake Las Vegas Natalie Gulbis.
That's what Gulbis was doing before teeing off in Wednesday's pro-am -- hosting a Q&A about women's golf. "It was important to me when I was growing up to have people to look up to, and I want to be the same for them," she said.
It didn't take very long to learn it was celebrity pro-am day at TPC Summerlin when George Lopez and Justin Timberlake were taking turns on the practice range. Lopez warmed up alongside the host, while wearing something that belonged to another pro-am dignitary from California.
"I think we're going to have a lot of laughs, especially with George. I've played with him a few times now and he's a hoot to play with," said 2002 PGA Championship Winner Rich Beem.
It's worth noting, every penny of the proceeds, from the golf to Timberlake's concert, will go the Shriner's Hospitals around the country. They do so much for kids and ask for absolutely nothing in return.
"Kind of cool what Justin Timberlake is doing for the golf tournament and the city. It's nice having a host out here like that," said MLB pitcher Greg Maddux.
The professional part begins Thursday morning.
