19-year-old Matthew Dennis LeneaveLas Vegas Police have arrested three people in connection to the robbery and murder of 19-year-old Dominique Evans. Two of the men were booked into the Clark County Detention Center and a third is at a juvenile justice facility.
The victim's family says the arrests are only a small part in the healing process. "It's a tragedy, of course, that it happened and we are all grieving," said Dominique's uncle David Salcedo.
Family members say Evans still had a lot of life before him. But his life was cut short early Sunday morning. "It's very tough to get a grasp on what happened because it's so senseless," said Salcedo.
Now along the street where Evans was shot remains a small memorial made up of flowers, candles, and even stuff animals. They are small mementos family members say will help in the grieving process that has only just begun. "The old saying is it's not over until it's over and right now, for me, it's not over yet," said Salcedo. "We are trying to remember the good times and I think justice will be served."
Only three days after the murder, three people are behind bars. Nineteen-year-old Matthew Dennis Leneave and 19-year-old Brian Gonzalez were arrested. A third juvenile suspect was also arrested and charged.

Relatives say while the road to closure will be a long one for them, they'll also live with regrets after losing a loved one whose personality they'll never forget. "I miss his sense of humor because he was hilarious and I'm sorry that I wasn't able to spend more time with him," said Salcedo.
All three suspects were are facing multiple charges, including robbery with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon and murder.
