If you don't have a bike but want to go riding around Henderson, now you can. The Freewheelin' Bike Sharing program is now offering 18 bikes to the community for free.
You can pick up the bikes at the Humana Guidance Center. Humana hopes the bike program will encourage people to have fun and get active.
"We dip into the Halloween candy this week and then roll that into Thanksgiving and then pretty soon we're making a New Year's resolution to lose 15 pounds. Well, let's get on a bike and prevent that from happening in the first place," said Curt Howell with Humana.
Anyone 18 or older can check out the bikes, but they do require you present an ID and credit card to make sure they are returned. The bikes are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Humana Guidance Center in Henderson is located at 1000 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 720.
