LAS VEGAS (AP) - Organizers are collecting new and gently used men's and women's professional clothing and accessories for a free clothing swap set this week in Las Vegas.
The clothing swap is part of an effort by city employees to boost sustainability and efficiency by helping residents get a new wardrobe by trading instead of buying clothing.
The theme is whatÂ’s old is new again.
The swap is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the East Las Vegas Community Senior Center on Eastern Avenue.
Donations of shoes, handbags, scarves, belts, jewelry and briefcases are being accepted until 3 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at the East Las Vegas center, the city Leisure Services Administration and Veterans Memorial Leisure Services centers, Minker Sports Complex, Centennial Hills Active Adult Center and Clark Community School.
