Nonpartisan Voters in Nevada Continue to Climb

The secretary of state's office says more people registered as non-partisan voters in Nevada last month than those who registered for all other political parties combined.

As of the end of October, 184,276 people were registered as non-partisan in the state, an increase of 356 from September.

The number of registered Democrats increased by 182 to 523,345, while the number of active Republicans fell 116 to 425,635.

Election officials 1,197,252 Nevadans were registered to vote as of the end of October, and increase of 525 from the month before.
