LAS VEGAS (AP) - Casino officials have confirmed that an escalator at Caesars Palace malfunctioned and 12 people were hospitalized.
Debbie Munch, vice president of public relations at Caesars Palace, says the 12 were treated at a hospital and released but she declined to provide details of the injuries.
She says the casino is investigating Saturday's accident and has the escalator company looking for the cause.
