A Las Vegas judge has ruled that two men will stand trial on murder charges.
Justice of the Peace Eric Goodman ruled Tuesday that prosecutors have enough evidence to send the case of Timothy Chester and Victor Veliz to trial.
The two 18-year-olds are each charged with two counts of murder with a deadly weapon and one count of conspiracy, burglary and robbery with a deadly weapon in the Sept. 30 deaths of Chester's parents, Thomas and Carla Chester, in their mobile home east of Las Vegas.
A Las Vegas police detective testified that Thomas Chester suffered two gunshot wounds to the head and Carla Chester suffered from several stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
Arraignment in the case is set for Dec. 2.
