The number of unemployed people in Clark County fell almost a full percentage point to 13 percent, down from the 13.9 percent reported in September.
the chief economist for the Nevada Department of Unemployment says the decrease in the state's labor force and employment stabilization were major factors for the decline.
As of October, 175,300 Nevadans were officially counted as unemployed.
