(Jul. 30) -- Red tape and politics are stalling plans for 50 Cuban performers to get to the U.S. for a heavily promoted Las Vegas show.
They can't get travel documents and now the show's producers are being ordered to leave Cuba by Monday for overstaying their tourist visas.
The show -- called Havana Nights -- is booked for six weeks at the Stardust hotel-casino.
The casino says the show's NOT canceled completely.
But it also can't say when -- or IF -- the show will open.
Promoters complain that they've been trying for weeks to get travel documents from Cuban officials.
They say the troupe made 16 other trips abroad to countries including Japan and Germany with no problem -- and shouldn't be denied permission for a first-ever trip to the U-S.
