(Feb. 17) -- Tonight is the night for the premiere of Survivor Palau. And the "survivors" are ready for the next competition, but this time things will be a little different.
For the seventh season of Survivor, 20 conestants will arrive on the Pacific island of Palau. But two won't make it to the first challenge. Another contestant will leave at the first tribal council.
That's right, three will say goodbye on tonight's premiere episode. And -- Las vegas will have a part this year. One of the contestants is a showgirl from the Tropicana.
Showgirl Janu Tornell says she knows how to outwit, outplay and outlast the competition. She says, "They don't know that I'm strongwilled, they don't know that I'm firey. I'll let them know little by little, only little by little though. I came here to win a million dollars and be the showgirl turned Survivor. That's what I came to do."
You can catch Survivor Palau on Channel 8 Thursday's at 8 p.m.
