
If you're looking for something spooky to do for Halloween, here is a listing of haunted houses and Trick-or-Treating events around the Las Vegas valley.
Monster Mayhem Haunted House
Located at Boca Park Shopping Center on the southeast corner of Rampart and Alta. Open from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Oct. 21st - 25th and Oct. 27th - Nov. 1st. Admission is $14.
FunTown Fright House
Located at Boca Park Shopping Center on the southeast corner of Rampart and Alta. Open from 5 p.m. to midnight weekdays and 11 a.m. to midnight weekends until Nov. 1st. Kid-friendly. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Family fun pack is $10.
Metro Trunk-or-Treat
Metro is holding two trunk-or-treat events where they will give out candy from patrol cars. The events take place from 5 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31st at the following locations: Convention Center Area Command, 750 Sierra Vista (and Swenson) and at the Southeast Area Command, 3675 E. Harmon Ave. (and Pearl)
Halloween Safety Tips from Metro
Haunted Harvest
The Springs Preserve is located at Valley View and Meadows. Family-friendly and open nightly from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. from Oct. 23rd - 25th and Oct. 29th - 31st. Includes Safe Street trick-or-treating. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children. Members received half-off.
Ghostwalk at the District
There are two big trick or treating events at The District in Green Valley from 5 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31st. There is Ghostwalk on Main Street which includes trick or treating in all the shops and restaurants. There is also the Carnival of Horrors at the Green. It features a dilapidated old carousel with zombie animals.
Harvest Carnival
This takes place at the Word of Life Christian Center on Friday, Oct. 30th. Admission is $7, children under 3 are free. Lots of candy, costumes welcome and plenty of play areas. Call 645-1990 for more information.
The Fright Dome
The AdventureDome at Circus Circus on the Las Vegas Strip is transformed into five haunted houses. Open from 7 p.m. - midnight from Oct. 22nd - 25th and Oct. 28th through the 31st. Tickets are $34.95. Click here for more details.
Sinister Dreadford's Mansion of Lost Souls
Located at 6464 N. Decatur at the 215 Beltway, next to Wal-Mart. Opens nightly at 6:30 p.m. until Nov. 1st. Admission is $9. Click here for more details.
The Circus of Horrors and Castle Vampyre
Located at United Artists Theaters parking lot at Rainbow Blvd. and Smoke Ranch Rd. Tickets are $11 or $18 for both Freaking Brothers attractions. You'll find a terrifying collection. No one under five admitted and no one under 12 admitted alone. Click here for more details.
The Mortuary
Located at Sunset Station. Open from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. on Sundays through Thursday and open from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday. Open from Oct. 16th through the 31st. No one under five admitted and no one under 12 admitted alone. Click here for more details.
Bonnie Screams
Located at Bonnie Springs, off of W. Charleston Blvd, about 18 miles west of Las Vegas. The Ghost Town will feature haunted houses, entertainment and a Ghost Quest. Tickets start at $10. Click here for more details and tickets.
