Las Vegas NowUNLV Constitutional Expert Explains Question 5 Ruling
On the Las Vegas One show In Business, UNLV constitutional expert Peter Bayer said while the ruling is going into effect, in a way, the tavern owners who tried to block it won.
Professor Bayer explained, "The tavern owners won almost everything, except, the ban is going to go into effect, and that could affect other businesses. They would have no basis to appeal on the criminal because the judge ruled in their favor."
There's no word yet on what the tavern owners groups plans to do next. The ban itself won't go into effect until, at least, after the Christmas holiday.
