The man involved in a double shooting in the parking garage of Caesars Palace has turned himself in to police.

Metro says the shooting suspect, 34-year-old Richard Earl Shepherd, shot two people early Saturday morning after an incident at a Caesars Nightclub. Shepherd turned himself in to police Wednesday morning.

Metro Capt. Curt Williams believes the motive behind the shootings was a disagreement over a woman.

"It looks like there may have been something said to a female that was in one of the groups that the male didn't agree with, which escalated into the argument and subsequently, the punching and then the gunfire," said Capt. Williams, Metro.

Police say one man was hit twice in the arm and another person was shot in the knee. The two victims were taken to UMC for treatment. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening.
