Opal Parsons missing since last week.
Bloodhounds have joined the search effort.Search crews are out in full force, looking for an 81-year-old woman missing since last week.
Detectives are planning to bring out bloodhounds to search the neighborhood where Opal Parsons lives.
Parsons was last seen at her home on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 30.
Bloodhounds are trying to find the trail of the missing woman. The Missing Person's Unit says the bloodhounds are brought in when a case looks suspicious.
On Wednesday, the bloodhounds led detectives through the neighborhood but nothing was found.
Investigators say it's unlikely she's in the area of East Charleston and South Nellis where she lives.
"We don't know where she is. The sky is the limit," said Metro Detective Dan Holley.
Detectives are handling this as a criminal investigation.
