There is new and exclusive information on how O.J. Simpson paid for his bail so that he could walk out of a Las Vegas jail.

In the corner of a North Las Vegas strip mall, there's a bail bonds office that is quickly becoming the center of the O.J. Simpson legal world.

"Phone calls after phone calls, interviews after interviews," said Miguel Pereira describing what has been going on at his business, You Ring We Spring Bail Bonds, since his company helped provide bail for Simpson.

Pereira was a little surprised he became a part of the high profile case. "There's approximately twenty to thirty bail bond companies here in town, numerous ones are close by the detention center," he said.

After only a year-and-a-half in business, Pereira was told one of Simpson's sisters was referred to his office. And after some easy negotiations, O.J. Simpson became Pereira's latest client.

"We treat everyone with respect and it doesn't matter what you're arrested for," he said.  Some have wondered how Simpson paid for the $125,000 bond. Pereira says one of Simpson's sisters co-signed for him, but the money will actually come from Simpson in the form of valuable property in Florida.

Simpson only had to pay 15-percent of the bail, which amounted to $18,750. Still, it's a high amount given the financial struggles of the football great. Long after the case dies down, the tiny business in North Las Vegas will still remember their very controversial client.

Pereira says Simpson will be back in October for his status check. The bail bondsman says he has already arranged to pick up Simpson at the airport.
