Mark Zana, who worked at Newton and Kesterson elementary schools, will not be eligible for parole for 22 years. Zana was sentenced Thursday after me made an attempt to get a new trial because one of the jurors researched the case online.
A judge ruled that the violation was not enough to overturn the conviction.
