Metro Holds Fraud Protection Seminars

First Tuesday Open House - Feb. 5, 2008

Join LVMPD at one of the local area commands for the First Tuesday Open House on February 5 at 7:00 PM, where citizens can learn more about protecting themselves from fraud.
Detectives from Metro's Financial Property Crimes Bureau will present information about protecting yourself from all types of fraud, including the following:

  • OnLine Fraud
  • Credit Card Fraud
  • Telemarketing Fraud
  • Mortgage Loans/Foreclosure Fraud
  • Identity Theft
  • Door to Door Sales Fraud
  • The remainder of the meeting will be for community concerns occurring in the local area.

Bolden Area Command: 1851 Stella Lake St. (South of Lake Mead, one block east of Martin Luther King)
Downtown Area Command: 621 N. 9th Street (Bonanza & 9th)
Northeast Area Command: 831 N. Mojave (Mojave and Washington)
Northwest Area Command: 9850 W. Cheyenne (on Cheyenne just west of Grand Canyon)
South Central Area Command: 4860 S. Las Vegas Blvd. (Between Russell and Sunset)
Southeast Area Command: 3675 E. Harmon (Between Sandhill and Pecos)
Southwest Area Command: 5925 W. Spring Mountain Road
