Love Found Guilty in Murdered Daughter Case

Updated:

Thursday morning, closing arguments were heard in the trial of a local mother charged with murdering her 7-year-old daughter. Soon after, the jury returned a verdict -- guilty on all counts.

Sherri Love's attorney said his client is bipolar and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. Her attorney also says Love has a history of suicide attempts.

And just days before her daughter was killed, Love checked into rehab for alcohol abuse. He says medication given there may have made her condition worse.

Love's 8-year-old son was also stabbed but survived. He testified at her trial.
