Pilot From Last Week's Crash Had Clean Record

The pilot killed in last week's crash near North Las Vegas had a clean flying record, according to the FAA.

38-year-old William Leahy, Jr. died last Thursday after the Piper Navajo he was flying crashed into a home on Jones near Cheyenne.

The plane had engine trouble shortly after taking off from the North Las Vegas Airport. No one on the ground was hurt.
