Memorial for Olivia Hyten.On the heels of a street racing crash Friday night that killed 15-year-old Coronado High School student Olivia Hyten, Eyewitness News has confirmed the son of District Court Judge Donald Mosley was driving one of the trucks involved.
Michael Mosley was involved in the street racing crash, but he wasn't driving the truck that flipped over killing Olivia Hyten.

Late Sunday, Judge Donald Mosley released the following statement. "My heart goes out to the Hyten family. There is no doubt this is a terrible tragedy. We would ask that the system be given a chance to work. My son will not run from any responsibility he has in this situation."
Neighbors say Mosley's son Mike constantly speeds through their neighborhood. "He has quad runners and motorcycles. They race them up and down the street." Said one neighbor who didn't want to be identified. Tire tracks branded onto the ground near the Judge's home were a warning sign of what was to come.
On Saturday night friends and family gathered to remember Olivia Hyten, holding a candlelight vigil. Gatherers say it was a tragedy that her life ended so young. In all seven teens were riding in the two trucks. Three were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Theresa Brandise, the mother of the dead girl spoke emotionally, "These are the people she touched. She was a good girl, a very good friend. We are crying in disbelief just trying to remember all the good stuff she did." Another parent said, "It's definitely a wake up call, hopefully kids will think twice before they get in a vehicle. It's dangerous."
Neighbors say Michael Mosley is in custody and is having a hard time dealing with the accident. They say he is on suicide watch.
