A week ago, Coronado High School sophomore Olivia Hyten was killed. The truck she was riding in flipped over.

Olivia's family has said their goodbyes, but they have yet to get the answers they need to start healing.

The outpouring of support for Olivia's family is very evident. The teen was loved by just about everyone she met and the community is still in shock over her loss.

But it is her mother that is asking for just one thing more, answers.

With her eldest daughter sitting with her for support, Teresa Brandise is surrounded by the life, achievements and energy of her youngest daughter.

Fifteen-year-old Olivia Hyten was a photogenic teen who learned very early on kindness was everything.

"One of the girls that came to the memorial service said that one time she was kind of new at the school and she tripped on the stairs and fell and everyone started laughing at her and Olivia went right up to her lifted her up and helped her laugh at it herself," said Olivia's mom Teresa.

Olivia was killed after the truck she was riding in crashed through a wall and flipped over. Two vehicles and seven teens in all were on the road when it happened, but no one seems to have the same story, including if she was wearing a seatbelt.

"All the kids lied and said that she was not in her seatbelt. The paramedics said they cut her out of her seatbelt," she said.

Brandise says other things are also not adding up, like why the driver of the second truck, Mike Mosley, is the only one being charged.

"I want to know about the other diver. I'm really concerned. Mike Mosley was not driving the truck that my daughter was in, so what about the other guy? Where is he?" she said.

Police say Mike Mosley is being charged with DUI, but not the crash. The driver Olivia was with still may face charges.

"I don't feel that the truth is out yet. I don't feel this boy is being honest. I'm sickened by what is being hidden because of what needs to be hidden right now," she said.

Brandise says her search for the truth has to be put on hold because even investigators can't tell her every thing, "I know that they have some pieces to the puzzle that eventually will be given to me, that will give me some peace. I can't know them yet, that bothers me."

Olivia's family have hired their own attorney to begin looking into her death and to make sure things are made right.
