The show opened on December 24, 1959 and came direct from Paris to the Tropicana. The last performance will be on March 28, 2009.
"Folies Bergere enjoyed an amazing and unprecedented run on the Las Vegas Strip," said Ron Thacker, Tropicana Las Vegas President.
According to a news release from the Tropicana, the property is currently in discussion with prominent producers for another show and will reveal its plans in the coming weeks.
