Las Vegas NowFirefighters Discover Pot Growing Operation
A pot growing operation was uncovered Thursday when firefighters responded to reports of smoke in a condo.
Fire officials say they saw smoke and water coming out of the condo at Valley View near Flamingo. A firefighter kicked the door in and found a woman on the ground and pulled her to safety. When firefighters entered the condo, they say they found a pot growing system and a suspicious device in the condo.
Police were called to the scene to investigate and dismantle the marijuana system. The woman was taken to Sunrise for smoke inhalation and police are also looking for a man who was seen inside the condo.
