History came alive this weekend at Spring Mountain Ranch State park. Hundreds gathered to watch a civil war re-enactment as part of Nevada Day weekend.
The battle recreated the Civil War experience. The participants essentially live in camps like soldiers did during the war.The goal is to educate the public about this four-year conflict.
Local re-enactors meet every third Saturday at the Old Mormon Fort State Park.
