The robber on the run got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. While shoppers were out and about this Black Friday, so were the criminals. Police had their work cut out for them with two different bank robberies and a man stealing from a local K-Mart before leading police on a car chase.
This season of giving has started off as a season of stealing. A bold bandit knocked down a customer at the Bank of America on Rancho and Craig around midday, getting away with $10,000 in cash.
The suspect fled on foot. He's described as a white male in his 20's, five feet seven inches with brown hair and a goatee or beard. He was wearing a light gray hoodie and blue jeans.
There was another bank robbery in North Las Vegas. Police say the man pointed a silver and black semi-automatic handgun at a clerk. It happened at the US Bank branch on Aliante and Centennial Parkway.

Then a man tried to steal from a K-Mart on Rancho and Craig. Metro says he stole some electronics, knocked down a store security guard in the process and fled in a stolen Jeep.
Police caught up with him a short time later, but not before the suspect crashed into a Metro cruiser and rolled over.
"The suspect was traveling at a high speed. The officer was following and caught up with him as he got caught in traffic," said Metro Lt. David Lewis.
Metro says no one was injured in the wreck. The suspect was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
His next stop will be the Clark County Detention Center where a list of charges await him. They did find a gun in the stolen Jeep but investigators at this point don't believe it was used in the robbery at K-Mart.
