A pilot was killed in a crash during a practice run before the start of an air race in Reno.
The FAA says the female pilot died when the wings of her homebuilt, single engine plane broke off as she was performing a roll. The pilot was practicing for the annual Reno National Championship Air Races set to begin Monday. Three pilots died during last year's competition.
