Las Vegas NowLas Vegas Strip to Close for Magician's Death Drop
A section of the Las Vegas Strip will be closed to traffic on July 4th when magician Steve Wyrick performs a "Death Drop" escape.
The trick will take place in front of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino at 8:30 p.m.
Wyrick will be locked inside a box which is connected to a crane. The box will be dangled over a bed of flaming spikes. Wyrick will attempt to escape before the flames burn the rope holding the box.
