UFO Conference This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

UFO researchers are back in Las Vegas this weekend for the 7th annual UFO Crash Retrieval Conference being held at the Tuscany.

Around the world, other governments have opened up their UFO files, including Britain's Ministry of Defense. But the U.S. government says it has no classified files to make public.

Conference organizer Ryan Wood says the world shouldn't hold its breath waiting for the Pentagon to come clean. In the meantime, he adds, it's more important than ever for people in this much-maligned field to demonstrate skepticism where it's appropriate. "We will be happy to dismiss cases that don't pan out and I think one of the first cases of that is some of the leaked documents form Edward Teller that are not genuine but tell an interesting story and they beget other questions such as who did it, why they did it, and what's to become of it all," he said.

Included in the conference agenda this year is presentations on some of the most famous UFO cases of all time. It starts Friday at the Tuscany.
