Despite the state's effort to slow foreclosures, Nevada once again has the highest rate of foreclosures in the nation.
The latest report done by Realty Trac shows foreclosure filings were the highest in Las Vegas where one in 68 homes received a foreclosure filing in October.
That's more than five times the national average which is one in every 385 homes.
However, that national number is down three percent from September but when compared to a year ago, foreclosure filings are still up 19 percent.
