Las Vegas NowChild in Critical Condition After Being Found In Backyard Pool
A 1-year-old boy is in critical condition Sunday night after being found floating in family's back yard pool.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday, the young boy made his way outside into the yard his home. Family members found him a short time later in the pool. Family members immediately called 911 and a EMS unit rushed to the scene and began performing CPR on the child. The child was taken to Sunrise Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Metro is investigating the circumstances of this near drowning.
