Helldorado, which is one of the oldest celebrations in Las Vegas, kicks off this weekend with a parade through downtown.
The parade starts at 7 p.m. and will be along Fourth Street between Coolidge Avenue and Fremont Street. Streets will be closed off to traffic starting at 4 p.m.
There are more than 100 entries in the parade. The event will be followed by a beard-growing contest and a fireworks show from the Fremont Square.
