Southwest Airlines Cuts 13 Flights Out of Las Vegas

Updated:

Southwest Airlines is cutting 13 flights from its McCarran schedule. Overall the airline is trimming nearly 200 flights early next year as it struggles with high fuel costs.

Here in Las Vegas, the cuts don't mean service to 13 cities will be taken out completely, only that service will be reduced.

The 13 cities that will be affected are:

  • Albuquerque
  • Denver
  • Kansas City
  • Oakland
  • Omaha
  • Ontario
  • Portland
  • Raleigh
  • Reno
  • Sacramento
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle
  • St. Louis

They will be adding six new flights -- one of those affects Las Vegas. A flight to Orange County has been added.
