1 Dead, 1 Arrested in Fatal Crash in Summerlin

LAS VEGAS -- One person is dead and another is facing charges after a single-car crash shortly before 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Alta Drive and Pavilion Center in Summerlin.

Metro Police Sgt. Richard Strader said the driver of the Mustang, 21-year-old Ralph Homer Corpuz, will be charged with DUI. The passenger in that car was killed when the vehicle hit a tree. The intersection was closed for several hours.
