2 women critically injured in car crash

LAS VEGAS - Two women were critically injured in a car crash Monday morning at the intersection of W. Sahara Avenue and Durango Drive.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. and involved a Chevrolet Suburban and Pontiac G6.

According to Metro Police, the women, a 25-year-old and 30-year-old, both from Colorado, were in the Pontiac G6 and transported to the hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the Suburban suffered only minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Impairment doesn't appear to be a factor, police said.
