28-year-old female victim, person of interest located in New Mexico

LAS VEGAS - Metro Police says the woman kidnapped Monday morning was found safely in New Mexico.

Police said the woman was found unharmed and the 31-year-old person of interest Jack Morgan was taken into custody.

A person called 911 Monday morning telling dispatchers that a woman was forcibly placed in a white van around 10:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of S. Decatur Boulevard, according to police.

The woman has been identified as 28-year-old Jane Priebe.

According to officers, Priebe hardly had any clothes on when she was forced out of a second-floor apartment into a minivan described as American made.  The letters "C" and "T" were seen on a Texas license plate on a van that was possibly a 2000's model of a Dodge Caravan.

Police took him into custody late Monday night, but the details surrounding his arrest wasn't released.

Detectives say they don't know if the kidnapping was a random act of violence or planned.

The FBI, Nevada Highway Patrol, Arizona Department of Safety, California Highway Patrol and law enforcement in New Mexico helped Metro in this incident.
