3 Brothers, adopted together, will need individual attention

Las Vegas, NV - Wednesday's Child today profiles a sibling set of three boys.  And while they need to remain together in adoption, each one will require some individual attention.  Dave Courvoisier introduces us to Caleb, Kyle, and Allen.

When these three brothers discovered that Spiderman was going to join them at Red Rock Kids Quest, nothing else really mattered.  They were kinda unsure at first... But then  they wanted to do *everything* with Spiderman.

You can't help but notice that of the three, Allen is the most challenged.  He arrived in a wheelchair, but didn't stay there.

“He gets around in his chair, he can walk with assistance… he has a walker, so, and when he first came into care we didn't think that was going to happen, we thought that he would always… he wouldn't be able to move... And walk, crawl, with motion,” says Penny, their DFS Case Worker.

The oldest of the three is Kyle... He's a high-functioning autistic, and drawn to visual stimuli.

“He follows direction well. Kyle loves video games, and as you can see he loves Dori, so he loves to watch videos but he also loves to play video games and he uses the tablet a lot,” adds Penny,.

Caleb is the youngest, and so far seems the least affected:

“What a spitfire he is and when he came into care because he spent he is around his brothers for so long at one point we thought that he was also autistic… but he was only mimicking his brothers,” claims Penny,.

These three need a home up to the task of caring for them, and celebrating their progress.

“A home that would be able to give them each individual child… all the attention that they need. You have two special needs kids but then you have a brother that's not, so he can't get lost in the shuffle of that. You know with the correct care, with the correct family, these boys will continue to grow, they will continue to thrive,” assures Penny.

Our thanks to Kids Quest AND Party Princess Productions for getting Spiderman to show up.  As for Caleb, Allen, and Kyle -- they're ready for adoption, they just need you to get going with the paperwork.  Call the Adoption Exchange at 702-436-6335.
