Accused phone smuggler plans to take a plea deal

LAS VEGAS -- A judge wants to see documents to confirm where a woman accused of a serious security violation got her bail money.

Cell phone smuggling suspect Olga Gonzalez is one of three women charged in a plot to smuggle cell phones into a state prison. One of the phones ended up in Ammar Harris' cell. Harris is serving time for sexual assault while awaiting a murder trial for a deadly strip shooting.

Gonzalez faced a judge Thursday morning and plans to enter a plea deal in district court on Sept. 8.

Earlier this month, she posted a $37,000 bail. She told the judge some of it came from an uncle's credit card. The judge wants documentation to prove where she got the rest of the money.
