Ammon Bundy released from prison

LAS VEGAS - Ammon Bundy was just released from federal detention and reunited with his family and supporters at the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas.

A judge allowed Ammon and co-defendant Ryan Payne to be freed during the federal trial. Both men will be placed on house arrest. The same offer was made to Cliven Bundy but he refused to be released. Another son, Ryan Bundy, already was living at a halfway house while serving as his own attorney.

The trial stems from an armed standoff that stopped a government cattle roundup.
